Java/JSP Developer

This role will contribute to the ongoing development of the Ceiva.com web site. This position will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the company’s development needs and long-term technology vision. This developer will be responsible for web page layout/development, business logic integration, and general Internet application development.

We are looking for an experienced Java/JSP Developer who has design and architecture experience. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience with Java, Servlets, JSP (including tag development), and general server side development. Qualified candidates will also possess 4+ years of professional application development, preferably with object- oriented technology. This person will be developing in a team environment on a Linux/SQL platform. We are looking for innovative team players with excellent communication skills.

• J2EE – 3 years of Java Experience (Java, JSP, Servlet, Custom Tags,  JDBC)
• HTML 4.0
• Formal education or use of development methods and process methods
• Object-oriented design
• Product life cycle management
• Site optimization techniques
• Site-to-site interfaces
• C, C++, XML, and SQL a plus
• Preferred environment experience: Linux, Apache, and Resin
