If your CEIVA frame is not connected to your phone, wireless, or ethernet/broadband line, it will display photos from your memory card and the photos you received when it last connected. If you're taking it to a party or other special event, this is a good way to preload a photo slideshow for display. Simply plug in the power and your slideshow will appear.

To receive new pictures sent from the CEIVA Network, you must connect your CEIVA frame again. For home use, we recommend leaving your CEIVA frame connected at all times so that it can update automatically with new photos as you receive them.

If you're connecting by phone and would like to use the line while the CEIVA frame is connecting, simply lift the handset of your phone and press any button on the keypad. This will disconnect the frame's call, and free the phone line for your immediate use.
