CEIVA Logic Inc., creator of the world’s first and only Digital Photo Receivers™, is participating in a new pilot program with France Telecom, one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators.
CEIVA has partnered with the Research and Development division of France Telecom and the Regional Management of France Telecom in Paris to develop the new pilot program. The pilot program places Digital Photo Receivers with a subset of France Telecom’s customer base in Paris. The program extends from December 2005 through the end of March 2006.

For the Parisian customers, the Digital Photo Receiver is connected either through a home telephone (STN) or via broadband connection utilizing France Telecom’s Livebox ADSL. Customers are able to automatically receive daily digital photo slideshows of their family and friends even if they don’t have a computer. The Digital Photo Receiver has the ability to receive photographs remotely whether the user is technologically savvy or not. It makes it possible to preserve family memories and enrich the bond between generations.
The Digital Photo Receiver is a full color vivid LCD display in a contemporary picture frame that can receive and display a digital slideshow everyday, automatically. The Digital Photo Receiver plugs into an ordinary phone line and automatically dials a local number each night to retrieve new photos sent to the network. Every morning, a personal slideshow of new photos is displayed automatically. The Digital Photo Receiver can receive up to 30 photos a day when connected to a traditional phone line, or 30 photos every hour over a broadband connection.
